U.S. Ambassador Paul Simons visited Antofagasta and Iquique

The Ambassador spoke on President Obama’s environmental policy at Universidad Arturo Prat in Iquique
 
U.S. Ambassador Paul Simons visited Antofagasta on Wednesday, October 28, to observe the “Salitre II” military exercise.  He then traveled to Iquique on Thursday, October 29, to meet with regional Intendente Miguel Silva and acting Mayor María Angélica Vega.

The Ambassador gave a public lecture titled “The Environmental Policy of President Barack Obama:  A New Day,” at the aula magna of Universidad Arturo Prat, on Arturo Prat street, 2120, Iquique, and had a meeting with Mr. Gustavo Soto Bringas, rector of this university.
