Ambassador Paul Simons Launched U.S. Pavilion at “Trade One 2009” Show in Espacio Riesco

U.S. Ambassador to Chile Paul Simons officially opened the U.S. pavilion at the Trade One 2009 business show, Thursday, November 5, at 12:30. The exhibit is being held November 4-6 in Santiago’s Espacio Riesco (Av. El Salto 5000, Huechuraba.)

This year, the United States is featured “guest country” at the biennial trade show, where exhibitors from around the world showcase their products, and attendees look for new business and commercial opportunities and contacts. Twenty U.S. companies from automotive, electronics, audiovisual, health, safety, industry, energy, and food sectors are participating in the EXPOUSA pavilion.

Trade One is a business platform that brings together companies presenting the latest technologies in logistics, packaging, food processing, and marketing as well as exhibits on merchandising, retail, hotels, and restaurants. In its 2007 edition, the show included 500 exhibitors from five continents, while more than 20,000 people from 40 countries took part.
